  • Lean Ground Beef
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder (and any other spices you love to use)
  • Pasta (elbow or fusilli macaroni is a great choice)
  • Diced, stewed tomatoes

 

Cook up the ground beef with the spices and onions. Cook pasta in a separate pot. When meat is ready, add stewed tomatoes and pasta, and enjoy. There is less than 200 calories per serving, and this is a great protein-filled treat to enjoy on a cold day.

 

Slow Cooker Chicken Stew

 

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breast, cubed
  • Carrots
  • Potatoes
  • 1 Box Light Chicken Broth
  • 1 Can Light Cream of Chicken Soup
  • Poultry seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, pepper, etc.
  • Light Soy Sauce

 

Place all of the ingredients, except the vegetables in the slow cooker. Cook on high for 3-4 hours. Add vegetables and cook for another hour or so, until they are tender. This is a low-calorie meal that is loaded with protein and other important nutrients.
